Northern Michigan’s Epoxy Flooring Services
From flake to metallic, garages to pole barns — every coating we install uses premium polyaspartic and polyurea systems backed by a real warranty.
Flake Coating
Our most popular system. Decorative flake broadcast into polyaspartic or polyurea for a durable, slip-resistant, sharp-looking floor.
Solid Color Coating
Clean, seamless, and professional. A solid color system that transforms any concrete surface into a polished, uniform finish.
Stain Coating
Rich, natural-looking color penetrates the concrete for a one-of-a-kind finish that enhances the character of the slab.
Grind & Seal
Surface grinding followed by a penetrating sealer — a lower-profile option that protects and enhances the natural concrete look.
Metallic Coating
High-gloss metallic pigments create a flowing, three-dimensional effect — a premium statement floor unlike anything else.
Quality
Over Quantity
Most coating companies rush through jobs to squeeze in the next one. We don’t. At Veteran Pro Coating, quality over quantity isn’t a tagline — it’s a standard we hold ourselves to on every single project.
As a veteran-owned business, we bring the same discipline and attention to detail from our service days into every floor we coat. That means proper surface preparation, the right system for your specific slab, and an installation done with precision — not speed. The result is a floor built to last, backed by a real warranty, and finished to a standard we’re genuinely proud of.

Common Questions About
Epoxy Flooring
Answers to the questions we hear most from Northern Michigan homeowners before they book.
A properly installed polyaspartic or polyurea floor coating can last 10–20 years with normal use. Longevity depends on surface preparation, the coating system used, and how the floor is maintained. We back our work with a 5-year warranty on polyaspartic systems and a 10-year warranty on polyurea — because we stand behind the installations we do.
Most residential garage and basement floors are completed in a single day. Larger spaces — like pole barns, barndominiums, or commercial floors — may require two days. We’ll give you a clear timeline before we start so you can plan accordingly.
You can walk on the floor with light foot traffic within 24 hours of completion. For heavier use — parking vehicles, moving equipment, or placing heavy items — wait at least 3 days to allow the coating to fully cure and reach maximum hardness.
Coated floors are one of the easiest surfaces to maintain. For routine cleaning, a dust mop or soft-bristle broom removes debris, and a damp mop with a pH-neutral cleaner handles spills and dirt. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive scrubbers, or steam cleaners. Wipe up oil, chemical spills, and standing water promptly to keep the surface looking its best long term.
Both are premium systems that far outperform traditional epoxy in durability, cure time, and UV stability. Polyaspartic is our standard system — fast-curing, scratch-resistant, and backed by a 5-year warranty. Polyurea is our premium option — it offers greater flexibility, superior chemical resistance, and a 10-year warranty. We’ll recommend the right system for your specific floor and how you use the space.
Yes — please clear the space before we arrive. Remove vehicles, tools, shelving, and any items stored on the floor. The concrete needs to be accessible and as clean as possible. We handle all surface grinding, prep work, and cleaning from there. If you have questions about what needs to be moved, just ask us ahead of time and we’ll walk you through it.
